Give pupils an unforgettable experience!

Let your pupils embark on a journey into the world of birds of prey and owls, and meet the birds involved in the educational program. The school programme is a 30-minute teaching session before a show, always tailored to the age and level of the group.

We teach pupils from kindergarten to primary and secondary school level (including special education classes).

About the classroom teaching

Adapted to the pupils' level

The teaching is adapted to the pupils' level and aims to create dialogue. We make every effort to ensure that the pupils get up close to our distinctive birds and gain unique insight into the world seen from the bird's perspective.

What do bird of preys eat? How does it catch its prey? Are birds of prey and owls related? What makes these bird species so special and deeply fascinating? And how has the bird of prey cooperated with humans for over 5000 years?

This, and much more new knowledge, will ensure the pupils have an exciting and unforgettable day.

Join the show

After the classroom teaching

After the lesson, the class participates in the center's programmed show. Here we fly between 7-10 birds of prey and owls. Pupils get to get up close to these birds, and will experience the soaring wings of large eagles and lightning-fast falcons as they gracefully take flight overhead.

In the show itself, we will incorporate knowledge from the classroom so that students can connect theory with practice as the birds are released and show their amazing hunting techniques.

Hold a bird of prey

After the show

After the show, pupils have the opportunity to experience what it's like to hold a bird in their hands. It could be the big 4.5 kg eagle, or the charming little owl that weighs only 135 grams.

Pupils can bring their own pocket money or the school can pay.
Try holding a bird is DKK 30 (normal price is DKK 50) per bird per pupil.

This gives them a unique chance to experience and interact with the birds and is a great way to finish the visit.
