Teambuilding with birds of prey offers a very different, educational and fun day where everyone in the team is equal.

The event starts by establishing a calm space where everyone feels comfortable participating. Our work is guided by empathy, trust and intuition.

Step by step, you will learn to fly a small falcon, a hawk and finally a big eagle. Through collaborative exercises, your ability to work together in a good flow, both as a team and with the birds, is strengthened.

We gradually increase the difficulty so you become more independent and able to work with the birds on your own.
Teambuilding with birds of prey focuses on both the individual mindset and trust in the team, two crucial factors for a healthy work environment.

Through interactive exercises, you'll gain valuable insights into how your strengths and weaknesses affect team dynamics.

On Samsø or by you?

When the course is held at Falkecenter Samsø, participants will also have the opportunity to go "backstage" and see where the birds live and gain insight into our lives as entrepreneurs and falconers with 25 birds of prey. There will of course be plenty of opportunity for both questions and looking around.

It is also possible for us to come to you under the right conditions, i.e. where there is an open natural area away from roads, and preferably 5 km away from major roads and highways.

There were 30 of us who took part in three interesting hours at Falkecenter Samsø – and the time literally flew by. Louise has a unique ability to keep the experience personal, and communicates in a language that captivates everyone. We didn't quite know what to expect, but we all left with a five-star feeling. We learned about wind lift, systems of the natural world, bird behavior, and got to witness their amazing flying abilities. We found the courage to receive birds of prey with a large wingspans and sharp claws – and then send them on their way. The experience broke down our personal barriers and strengthened the teamwork within the group. We felt the support of our colleagues, trained our ability to remain calm and present, and experienced how community, trust, and focus could bring us closer. A fantastic team-building exercise where everyone can participate and leave feeling uplifted. Louise, Emil and Josefine guided us safely and kindly, with great enthusiasm throughout the entire process. Their passion for the birds was contagious, and we felt we were in good hands throughout. Collaboration

Teambuilding with birds of prey requires effective cooperation within the team and good contact with the birds. Our work is guided by empathy, trust and intuition. We start by establishing a calm space where everyone feels comfortable participating. Through exercises with the birds of prey, we gradually build up the participants' ability to work independently.
The teamwork, combined with the flight with the birds, highlights how both extroverts and introverts affect the dynamics, collaboration and communication in the group.

Teambuilding with the birds of prey acts as a mirror that shows how the different personalities in the team affect collaboration. The strengths and weaknesses of the participants are quickly revealed in the interaction with the birds. This is an opportunity to give members a valuable insight into their own contribution to the team dynamic.

A key part of collaboration is the ability to both take up and give space. We focus on helping participants identify when to step forward and lead, and when to step back and let others take charge. This balance creates a harmonious dynamic in the team and ensures that everyone is heard.

As we notice and recognise these differences, we strengthen the shared trust and intuition among participants. Team building with birds of prey focuses on both the individual mindset and trust in the team, which can help create a stronger connection and a more effective work dynamic.

Communication

Effective communication is fundamental in teambuilding with birds of prey, we work with both verbal and non-verbal aspects.

Working with birds of prey, participants learn to be aware of their physical communication, presence and energy they radiate.

Birds of prey require clear communication. They quickly decode body language and changes in energy.

When participants learn to communicate optimally, the bonds between them are strengthened.

Trust & Confidence

In teambuilding, trust is key, both with each other and with the birds.

The participants have to trust their team members to complete their tasks, and must also trust the birds of prey, which can seem intimidating to some.

The falconers foster a safe environment and help participants, especially those who feel challenged, to go beyond their comfort zone and experience their true strength.

Birds of prey have a natural ability to sense trust and uncertainty; when learners show trust, the birds become more cooperative.

Create a good atmosphere in the team

When we fly the birds of prey between us, it is essential that the energy, flow and synergy within the team is good.

This will make it easier for the birds to work with the team.

The way energy flows in the team is directly reflected in the behavior of the birds; lack of leadership or unclear communication will be apparent to both birds and participants.

Through these interactive experiences, we learn to put aside our own personal interests and instead focus on improving the team as a whole.

Just three kilometres from Falkecenter Samsø is Hotel and dining - Rumogrooms, who can provide your team with delicious lunch and dinner as well as lovely meeting facilities and accomodation during your stay.

Together, we will plan a tailor-made event that includes course facilities, catering and accommodation, where everything is customised to your wishes.
